A new kind of vitamin B₁₂ coenzyme analogues——2',5' dideoxyadenosyl-cobinamide (2' dAdoCbi),5' -deoxythymidylcobinamide (ThyCbi) and 2',5' -dideoxycytidylcobinamide (2' dCytCbi) were synthesized by a new route in which deoxynucleosidylcobalamins directly reacted with freshly prepared Ce (OH)₃ to remove the dimethylbezimidazole (DBZM) nucleotide.All cobinamides containing 2' -deoxynucleosides were characterized by UV-Vis and ¹HNMR spectroscopy.

MNDO MO method has been used to study the gas phase eliminations of several chloroesters.The results obtained for ClCH₂(CH₂) nCOOCH₃ show that the activation energies of the route (2) are lower than ones of the route (1),because the carbonyl oxygen of the carbomethoxy group partakes in the reaction process in the route (2).

The apparent stability constant (ASC) of Zn (TAPP) has been determined by HPLC for the first time.A complex of Zn²⁺ with 5,10,15,20-tetra-(4-trimethylaminoniumphenyl) (HaTAPP) can be formed under a special condition with Hg²⁺ as a catalyst.The method based on equilibrium changing principle by means of caloulating the chromatographio area or height of the complex,has been found to be fast and accurate for this system.

The dynamic ¹H-NMR studies on[Li(3D)] [La(η³-C₃H₅)₄](D=dioxane) are reported.The spectrum of hydrogens in allyl groups from AA' MM' X to AX₄ as the temperature was raised through the range of -72 to 70℃.The constants of E_a (potential energy barrier) and A (frequency factor) for the site exchange of hydrogens in CH₂ groups are obtained using Arrhenius equation.

The local structures of Cu in ZSM-5 have been investigated by EXAFS method.The copper ions have saturated oxygen coordination when the exchange degree is lower than 20,but they are inactive.Unsaturated oxygen coordination of copper species is necessary for NO decomposition.Copper species are not easy to aggregate in redox treatment because of ZSM-5 structure.

The comparative studies of hydrogen and CO adsorption on the classical platinum catalyst (Ⅰ) and the catalysts (Ⅱ and Ⅲ) derived from alumina supported platinum clusters were carried out.The measurements of IR spectra and H₂-D₂ isotope exchange showed that the effect of hydrogen assisted CO adsorption and hydrogen spillover was greater on the catalysts Ⅱ and Ⅲ than on the catalyst Ⅰ.The phosphorus in the catalysts Ⅱ and Ⅲ was an effective promoter for the dispersion of platinum and the activation of hydrogen.

A new chiral Schiff base,menthyl 4-{N-[4-(6-hydroxyhexanoxy)-benzylidene]-amino}-benzoate (MHHBAB),was synthesized.It was characterized by IR,NMR,elemental analysis and optical rotation.Its Liquid Crystalline phase behaviors were studied by DSC and polarized microscope.The Surface Photovoltagc Spectroscopy (SPS) shows that the title compound can produce a large number of photoproduced charges in the region of 300~400 nm.

Nickel ions have been incorporated in ionic domains of pyridine containing linear polyetherurethane films.These domains can be isolated by polyurethane matrix,the metal ions in the domains have been reduced in this work by controlling the exposure of the nickel sites to H₂N-NH₂ or NaBH₄ under mild conditions.The reduction of the polyurethane metal chelate films results in the production of ultrafine metal particles which are in the 20-100Å diameter range.

Nanosized SnO₂ particles which are uniformly distributed are prepared through sol-gel process using anhydrous SnCl₄ and iso-PrOH.By comparing the results of XRD patterns with the JCPDS standard card of SnO₂ and analysing the TEM images of the product,we can prove that we got the narrow distributed SnO₂ particles.The mean diameter of the particles is about 20 nm even sintered at 700℃ for 2 hours.
