The reaction of (-)-menthyl glyoxylate 2 with homoallyl silyl ether 3 under I ewis acid conditions gave optically active ene-reaction product 4 with de in a range of 20-45% and 4-chloro-2-hydroxy carboxylate 5.The effect of siloxy group and Lewis acid on the regio-and stereochemistn and distribution of 4 and 5 in the mixture of the product was examined.

A precursor of sarcophytol-Q,(11S)-3,7,11,15-tetramethyl-11-hydroxy-14-oxo-3E,7E,12E-hexadecatrienal,was synthesized by a convergent and stereoselective manner starting from geraniol via nine steps employing asymmetric Sharpless epoxidation and base(n-BuLi)-induced dehydrohalogenation rearrangement of chiral epoxy chloride(4)and the phase transfer catalytic coupling reaction of allylic phenyl sulfone(9)with chiral allylic chloride(6)as key steps.

Synthesis of sixteen new title compounds Ⅰ a~h and Ⅱ a~h was described.Ⅰa~h and Ⅱ a~g were synthesized by the nucleophilic displacement of alkyl phosphorodichlorid(othion)ates by sodium 4-(quinoxalyl-2-oxy)phenolate followed by secondary amines in polar organic solvent under mild conditions;Ⅱ h was synthesized by the basecatalized phosphorylation of 4-(quinoxalyl-2-oxy)phenol using diethyl phosphorochloridothionate as phosphorylating agent in aprotic solvent.The structure of all new compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis,IR,¹H and ³¹P NMR.

Two dicopper(I)complexes as model compounds for hemocyanin were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses,IR,¹H NMR spectra and other means.UV-VIS spectra indicate that the solutions of complexes in DMF can reversibly combine with dioxygen.Oxygenation ratio 2:1 (Cu:O₂) was proved through manometric oxygen-uptake measurements.

The behaviour of electrochemical reaction in which 1 5~dinitroanlhraqninone (1,5-DNA) is reduced into 1,5-diamino-4, 8-dihydroxyanthraqninonc (DADHA) in sulfuric acid solution on amalgamaied copper electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and constant potential electrolysis. Information was obtained about the intermediate species. Thus the reaction mechanism was primarily analysed.

The voltammetric behaviours of iron have been investigated by the potentiodynamic and the scanning electron microscope (SEM) techniques in 0.5 mol/L Na₂SO₄ solutions with or without ethylenediamine tetracetic acid (EDTA or H₄Y).The results indicate that EDTA can promote not only the anodic dissolution of iron,but also the passivation of iron in neutral solution.The possible reason may be attributed to that EDTA can form very stable and soluble complexes with iron.EDTA can also efficiently retard the pitting effect of Cl^- ion on iron,this is due to the competitive adsorption of EDTA and Cl^- ion and the formation of the complexes:FeY^2-.FeY^-.

The effect of acid rain on species of Cu、Pb、Zn and Cr has been studied by Tessler method In simulart acid rain the content of Cu and Cr increased with decreasing pH.whereas solubiliztion content of Pb and Zn has a peak value at pH=3.5,4.5 respectively,whice come from the exchangeable and carbonate-bound fractions in the first place.In addition,the content of various species of Cu、Pb、Zn and Cr change great in simulant acid rain.Copper transforms from superior form bound to organic matter to exchangeable,bound to carbonates ace bound to Fe-Mn orides:while lead zine and chromium transform from bound to Fe-Mn oxices to exchangeable and bound to carbonates.
