Abstract Three new sesquiterpene alkaloids,1-desaeetylwilforgine (1),1-desaeetylwilforine (2),and 9'-hydroxy-2-nicotinoylwilforine (3)were isolated from the roots of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook f.,along with six known alkaloids.Their structures were established on the basis of spectral analysis.
