Abstract A new triterpenoid 3,4,6-trihydroxy-2-oxo-1(10), 3,5,7-tetraen-23, 24-nor-D:A-friedooleana-29-oic acid, as well as twelve known terpenes were isolated from the roots of Tripterygium wilfordii. Its structure was established on the basis of spectroscopic methods.Society.
