Abstract 4,6-Diarylpyrimidin-2(1H)-one derivatives have been synthesized from three-component one-pot condensation of acetophe-none derivatives, aldehydes and urea in the presence of trimethylsilyl chloride and a catalytic amount of H3PMo12O40 under solvent-free conditions.
