Abstract A self-intermolecular cyclocondensation reaction of 3,4-dihydropyrimidine-2-thione(DHPM)to give a novel tricyclic structure containing DHPM core in the presence of diethyl azodicarboxylate(DEAD)and triphenylphosphine(TPP)at room temperature is reported.
